Children’s Programming (KidSpace)

Job Posting: First Third Coordinator

KidSpace happens every Sunday during the 10:30 am worship service. Children are invited to join the KidSpace team in the gym or library during the passing of the peace.

KidSpace is Knox United Church’s Sunday morning program for children and youth, ages 3–17. It is a place where curiosity is encouraged, relationships are nurtured, and faith is explored in ways that are creative, age-appropriate, and welcoming.

Each Sunday, KidSpace offers children and youth the opportunity to gather in a space designed just for them - a space that is safe, inclusive, and rooted in Knox’s values of openness, creativity, justice, and community. Through story, conversation, art, play, and shared reflection, participants are invited to wonder, ask questions, and grow together.

KidSpace is supported by trained, caring volunteers and guided by thoughtful planning and curriculum. We are committed to creating an environment where every child feels welcomed and known, where families feel supported, and where children and youth can develop meaningful connections with one another, with trusted adults, and with the wider Knox community.
